The Security Department at St. Mary’s has been under contract with LawMan for almost a year as of the date of this letter. Our department has contracted with LawMan to provide additional staff in those areas where disruptive patients have caused an increased threat to themselves, other patients, and staff.
Over the course of the past year, LawMan has provided over one thousand man hours to our staff for around the clock coverage. Bryan Bishop and his staff have covered shifts spanning any time of day. Mr. Bishop has been readily available for consultation both via his 24-hour call line and via e-mail.
LawMan’s services have been an essential part in protecting the patients, visitors, and staff at St. Mary’s. Mr. Bishop and his staff should be commended for taking the opportunity to fulfill a need in our community for additional security staff that are trained and professional.
